Here are the details.
Here are the details.
- This six-week challenge starts on July 4th and ends on August 14th.
- The objective (not mandatory) is to check as many of the 40 distances (1k, 2k, 3k… 40k) off the list.
- You log your runs as MILES. Even though this challenge is all about kilometers, the conversions will be done for you. You simply log your miles run.
- The first distance run will earn one point.
- Each new distance will earn one more point than the last.
- Each kilometer run during the challenge earns a point and will be rounded down. See the chart below (any mileage between 0.62 and 1.23 miles will be rounded to 1 kilometer, therefore one point).
- If you repeat a distance, you will earn km points but not collect any extra distance points.
- The runners with the most points and closest to the average points are the two winners.
- Winners earn a $50 gift card to a running store of their choice and a race entry to any GDFAR/MGr race.
