This event is available for up to 64 runners and will correspond with the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
All entries must sign up before the start date of March Madness, March 18, 2013.
Even though runs won’t count until March 1st, reserve your spot now by joining the Facebook event, Marching Madness, or emailing eric@meanguyrunning.com.
March 1st, the running begins (continues). Even though the NCAA tournament ends April 8th, our event will end March 31st.
Participants will log/email miles to eric@meanguyrunning.com from March 1st to March 31st.
The person with the most total miles throughout March will be given the top ranked team in the tournament. The person with the second most miles will be given the second ranked team in the tournament. The person with the third most miles…
Some teams may be out of the tournament already, but there are always the Cinderella team.
If this information is not made public, then the top four runners will all be given number 1 seeds, next four runners will be given number 2 seeds, etc.
Whatever NCAA Men’s Basketball Team wins The Big Dance, the person with that team wins Marching Madness and MEAN GUY running gear.
